Contest Entry Dates & Details

The Shattered Barriers Launch Giveaway Contest is almost here! Here's how and when you can officially enter:

Early Entry (Exclusive In-Person or Preorder via Fable Tree Only):

📍 August 8–9, 2025 at Fable Tree Bookshop
Be among the first to enter by:

• Attending the in-person launch event at Fable Tree Bookshop August 8th and 9th
  OR

• Preordering your copy of Shattered Barriers directly through Fable Tree (in store or by phone).
  All early entries must be through Fable Tree — this is the only way to enter before the online form opens.

•  General Online Entry Opens:

The official contest form goes live. All book purchases (including Fable Tree preorders and in-person entries) can be verified and submitted at this time.

Contest Closes:

🕛 September 19, 2025 at 11:59 PM EST

⚠️ Entries will not be accepted before August 8th. Early entry and preorders must be made through Fable Tree Bookshop only. Online entries begin August 11.

🧾 Entry Methods

There are three (3) ways to enter the Shattered Barriers Launch Loot Box Giveaway:

1. Book Purchase Entry (Standard)

• • This entry includes eligibility to win:
  o Loot Box
  o Visa Gift Card
  • To complete your entry, you must either fill out a form in person or upload proof of purchase at aarondyoder.com

• NOTE: Amazon pre-orders qualify for the Loot Box and Visa Gift Card only—not the Fable Tree Gift Card or Pressed Book Store Gift Card.

2. Fable Tree Bonus Entry

• Purchase Shattered Divinity directly from Fable Tree Bookshop (in person).

• Purchase Shattered Divinity directly from Pressed Bookstore (in person.)

• OR pre-order Shattered Barriers in person at Fable Tree or online at fabletreebookshop.com.

• • This entry includes eligibility to win:
  o Loot Box
  o Visa Gift Card
  o Fable Tree Gift Card
  o Pressed Bookstore Gift Card
  • To complete your entry, you must either fill out a form in person or upload proof of purchase at aarondyoder.com

3. Free Entry (Mail-In + Newsletter)

• Submit a completed entry form with no purchase necessary.

• Sign up for Author’s newsletter at aarondyoder.com.

• Free entries are eligible to win the Loot Box only.

• Entry form must include:

  • Full name

  • Phone number

  • Email address

  • Signature confirming agreement to the official giveaway terms

• The entry form will be available as a downloadable PDF at aarondyoder.com.

🎟️ Drawing Process

• Each entrant will be assigned a numbered chip.

• On the day of the drawing:

  1. If the first chip pulled belongs to a book purchaser, that person wins both the Loot Box and the Visa Gift Card.

  2. If the first chip pulled is a free entry, they will win only the Loot Box.

  3. The next chip pulled will determine the Visa + Fable Tree Gift Card winner.

  4. If a Fable Tree or Pressed purchaser is drawn first, they win all four prizes.

  5. Additional chips may be drawn as needed to ensure all prizes are awarded.

📌 Terms & Conditions

• One entry per person, regardless of entry method.

• To be eligible for the prize drawing for all available prizes, entrants must purchase a copy of Shattered Divinity (or other eligible item as specified) and complete the official entry form in full. The entry form must include an uploaded photo or scanned copy of the purchase receipt.

• Purchases may be made at any bookstore. For online or in-person purchases outside the host location, entrants must upload a clear image of their receipt when completing the form to validate their entry.

• Important: Entries without proof of purchase will not be considered for the full prize drawing.
  The free entry option is valid only for the Loot Box prize and does not qualify for the Visa Gift Card, Fable Tree Gift Card, or other purchase-exclusive prizes.

• US Residents only.

• Must be 18 years or older.

• No cash substitutions or exchanges.

• All purchases are final. There will be no refunds or exchanges.

• Winner will be contacted using the information provided. If unreachable after 7 days, an alternate winner may be selected.

• Prizes will be shipped to the address provided, delivered in person by Aaron D. Yoder, or made available for pick-up at Fable Tree Bookshop.

• By entering, you agree to allow your first name and city/state to be announced publicly for promotional purposes.

• Disqualification clause: Any entrant who tampers with the process, submits false information, or violates these terms may be disqualified at Aaron D. Yoder’s discretion.

• All winner selections are final. No substitutions, alterations, or appeals will be considered unless deemed appropriate by Aaron D. Yoder.

📦 Shipping Liability & Quality Guarantee

• Aaron D. Yoder will personally ensure that all physical prizes are packaged securely and in excellent condition, with photo documentation of contents prior to shipping.

• However, he is not responsible for any damage, delay, or loss that occurs during shipping or delivery once the items leave his possession.

• Winners are encouraged to provide a secure and reliable shipping address.

⚠️ Additional Legal Notes

• By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless Aaron D. Yoder, Fable Tree Bookshop, and all associated parties from any liability, claim, or damage related to participation in this contest or use of any prize.

• This contest is governed by the laws of the state of Pennsylvania.

• This giveaway is not affiliated with or endorsed by Amazon, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), or any unrelated third-party platforms.

• Void where prohibited.
